  • Pentecost Sunday : Sunday May 15th

Pentecost Sunday, known as the “birthday of the church” is on

May 15th . We celebrate the earliest church receiving the gift of Holy Spirit in tongues of fire. We’ll hear from congregants why they love  Grace church and have a birthday party with cake following worship. And don’ forget to WEAR RED! as a sign of the spirit.

See you for worship on Sunday and think about who you can invite!

  • Easter Worship Series: New Creation

During 50 days of the Easter season, Grace will explore the theme of New Creation. Through Christ's death and resurrection, all things are made new. But, what does this mean for us, for our communities, and our daily lives? Join Grace this Easter season as we talk about new life, made possible through Jesus, and discover how we can be part of God's new creation, here and now.

  • Planning for Fall: Faith and Food

Central to Grace’s vision is “feeding our surrounding community”. For the 2016/7 program year the  church will be focusing on food and faith—in our worship life, studies, and outreach to the community.

We want your ideas and participation as we plan for the upcoming year. ALL are invited to a dreaming and planning session on Sunday May 22nd , following worship.

If you plan to come, RSVP to Calissa Dauterman: cdauterman@graceonponce.org so we have a count for lunch.

  • Phase One: January 20th - May 20th

On Wednesday, January 20th, Global Ministries began renovation of the property, including the COC/back building and the sanctuary building.

Wednesday, Sunday School, fellowship opportunities and mission will continue. Coffee hour will continue to be at 10:30am in the Grace Cafe with worship at 11am in the sanctuary.

Phase One is scheduled for January 20th - May 20th and will include construction on the COC building and the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors of the sanctuary building, concurrently.

Therefore, as of January 20th, Grace only has access to the sanctuary level/2nd floor of the main building, except for the children's area, which will not be affected by construction. The elevator will be renovated and will not be available for use.

  • Access During Construction

    Entry Doors

Everyone should enter the church through the sanctuary doors, either off of the West Transept/Grace Cafe or via the sanctuary itself. These doors will open at  9am on Sundays.

    Parking

Parking is available in the upper lot and part of the middle lot. The rest of the middle lot and the lower lot are taken up with construction fences. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood on Sundays.

Additional handicap spaces will be added to the upper lot. No longer are there handicap spaces in the middle lot, because that entrance is temporarily inaccessible.

If you are able, please park on the street or in the middle lot to make room for those with limited mobility and for visitors to park in the upper lot.

  • Looking Ahead

Phase 2 is scheduled for May 21st - July 5th and will include renovation of the East Hall of the 2nd floor, where the new Grace offices will reside.

Phase 3 is scheduled for July 6th - August 1st and will include renovation of the West Hall of the 2nd floor.

These dates are subject to change and we will keep you informed of updates along the way.
